Customers waiting for an answer
Staff jump between supplier sites, catalogues, and spreadsheets to answer a simple product or compatibility question. A quick sale becomes a slow search.
I build practical tools that turn repetitive lookups, data entry, and system handoffs into simple next steps. A battery search that needs five vehicle details can become a rego-and-state lookup, so teams answer customers faster with fewer mistakes.

Growing businesses rarely need more busywork. They need the repetitive parts of the day to stop getting in the way of customers, orders, and decisions.
Staff jump between supplier sites, catalogues, and spreadsheets to answer a simple product or compatibility question. A quick sale becomes a slow search.
Re-entered product codes, addresses, and order details create wrong shipments, returns, rework, and awkward customer conversations.
Your online store, stock system, accounting software, inbox, and spreadsheets each hold part of the picture. Your team becomes the connection between them.
Per-search fees and large software subscriptions quietly eat into margin. Where the data is public and the rules allow it, a direct approach can be simpler and cheaper.
Choose a familiar bottleneck to see the kind of small, useful workflow I can build around the tools your team already uses.
Pick a bottleneck
The example changes; the principle stays the same.
Illustrative workflow
A scheduled check finds useful changes before someone spends the first hour of the day looking for them.
These are examples, not a live demo. The first step is mapping the real repeat in your business.
SuperStart Batteries NT needed a faster way to match a customer's vehicle to the right battery. The old process depended on the make, model, year, variant, engine size, and fuel type, details many drivers do not know at the counter.
The manual search
Finding a battery could require the make, model, year, variant or series, engine displacement, and fuel type. Staff then cross-referenced catalogues and supplier spreadsheets while the customer waited. Commercial lookup services also added recurring per-search fees to each query.
The working prototype
Staff entered the registration (rego) and state. The prototype fetched the vehicle details, then used an AI-assisted battery-matching system to surface a suitable catalogue recommendation in about 1.2 seconds, reducing manual lookup time and broker-related cost.
The 30-day trial proved the workflow and then paused when the client’s priorities changed before a production rollout. That is exactly why I start with a working prototype: you can test the business value before committing to a larger build.
You work directly with me from the first conversation to the finished tool. Every stage answers a practical question before the next one begins.
We map the task that keeps coming back, what it costs in time or errors, and where your current tools leave a gap.
I build a focused first version with real examples from your business. You can try it, ask questions, and decide with evidence.
If the prototype earns its place, you receive a clear fixed-price scope with milestones, handover, and the edge cases that matter to your team.
Your team gets a practical handover, your business owns the finished tool, and ongoing support is available when an outside system changes.
A few practical details about timing, cost, ownership, and what happens when the world around your business changes.
For a focused workflow, I typically deliver a working first version within 3 to 5 business days.
Once you approve the direction, a fuller build usually takes 2 to 3 weeks depending on the number of systems and real-world edge cases involved.
I provide a fixed-price quote based on the agreed scope and complexity, with clear milestones and deliverables before any build begins. The working prototype is scoped separately as paid discovery work. If it proves useful, we then price the larger build.
You own the finished tool. There are no per-person subscription fees added as your team grows.
Outside websites and documents do change. I can add checks that flag an unexpected change instead of quietly passing along bad information.
Optional support is available for updates, with a typical response within 24 to 48 hours when a third-party change affects the workflow.
I work with information that is publicly accessible or that your business is authorised to use. I do not collect private personal information.
Each project is scoped around the source, the data needed, and responsible access limits before any work begins.
No. The finished workflow should fit the way your team already works, whether that means a clear spreadsheet, an email report, or information appearing in the system they use each day.
I include a practical handover so people can use it confidently without learning a technical tool.
Book a short call if you already know the bottleneck. Prefer to write it down first? Use the assessment form and I will reply within 24 hours with an honest view of what is possible.
